Phedder This time of year in transient towns. Everyone's offloading their gear ridiculously cheap. I just picked up a 166 Nitro Pantera for $40, needs a little TLC but no edge or major base damage so soon I'll have it good as new. I've got a feeling by the time I leave in June I'll have 10 boards stored here to sell at the start of next season. Tune 'em and flip 'em hah. That Nitro's definitely getting ridden though, so stiff, so much camber

f00bar Antibiotics.

My dog Rose who is going on 15 in a month completely stopped eating about a week ago and went from pulling down branches from 6' above the ground in January to totally lethargic.

Took her to the vet expecting the worst, from 45lb down to 35lb. Ran the blood work and the vet said for her age it looked surprisingly good although possibly stage 2 kindey issues. Not to be unexpected given her age and the numbers may be weird from her fasting.

However she did come back positive for lyme. Who would think that is a good thing! 12 hours and 2 pills later she's thinking she's a hobbit and looking for 2nd breakfast followed by elevenses and frolicking through the 10" of snow!

I see what you did there! I agree, skiing certainly doesn't feel emasculating... One of my snowboard patrol buddies said he thought he was in the twilight zone seeing me on skis!

There's really nothing like the feeling of having it all dialed in on a snowboard...

He asked if I'd mind showing him around the mountain for the afternoon, so off we went. Step outside and I immediately like him a little more, he was riding a 164W Custom X, same as me, but I had at least 30-40lb on him. Dude could shred. Spent the afternoon hunting fresh lines and good drops and hits, which were surprisingly easy to find, and some I'd been eyeing for a while still had untouched landings so managed to tick off a few firsts myself. One of the best days of my season so far for sure, getting a few compliments on my riding certainly didn't hurt
That is so kick ass awesome!!!!! I love it when stuff like that happens...so so super fun.
