|jimmerjammermrk||Stiff boots don't have to be uncomfortable if they fit right. Having said that, it sounds like the 32's don't fit you, so stay away. Try on some other brands and buy something a little bit softer.|

|cky4skater||check your aknle straps too....if those are too tight then it will cause pain...and my buddy had some 32's and they wrecked his ankle for tightening them to tight. so it could be a number of things...go for a softer boot and it should prove comfortable. peace|

|hm1sfidc||Ummm I would say shoulder width. I saw the boots were 6-7 rated.|

What boots do you have right now?
Stiff boots are for freeride, soft boots are for freestyle/park (and beginners).

I have looked through the posts, but have yet to find the anwser. What's the diffrence from a stiff boot to a not stiff boot. I have read that new to the sport should have a not so stiff boot. What I want to knwo is what does a stiff boot do vs a not so stiff boot. For me I am not so technical, never had lessons just went out and did it, thing is, my pro shop sucks ass they are all abotu selling the high end crap and not knowing much on the technical side. I asked the dudes about the boots I got and said these were the best for me. I did a little research but hell I am just some country boy out to ride ya know. Now I am looking for new boots after only owning the ones I have had for a month. The fit feels good toe is all the way forward ( By the way the dude selling the boots did not even ceck or ask nor did he know the toes should touch the front). but after a full day riding the top of my left ankle is killing me, it's been over a week now and still tender to touch Whew. Hope yall understand my ramble.
O' Ya one hel of a forum, great knowledge here.
