storrisch FYI rome recommends the
147 for a weight range of 75 - 130lbs
150 for a weight range of 95 - 150lbs
153 for a weight range of 115 - 170lbs

I also think the 150 is going to be better suited to you.

st.stark Hm...well I still wouldn't put the 153 out of your mind...I just think that you'll be dissapointed if you gain 10-20 lbs. and/or grow a couple inches and wish you had a slightly bigger board. A smaller board will be great for you as more of a beginner but a bigger board will suit you MUCH better when you get better, whether you are only in the park, or doing some freeride as well... Just my $0.02.

WEIGHT!! Not height!

And at the op's WEIGHT he should look at something that is about a 151-ish for a beginner, and depending on where he ridges.

MassMan what would be an ideal board length for my style...the crail comes in 147, 150, 153, 156, and 159

i was looking at 150 or 153...is this too short?
