Geoff sierrasnowboard .com has huge deals right now (why the does the url tag not work properly...)
Burton Snowboards, Burton Bindings, Burton Boots, and snowboard reviews - Free shipping to U.S.

Big Monday: 40% Off All 2009 Snowboards
Tuesday: 40% Off All 2009 Bindings
Wednesday: 40% Off All Boots
Thursday: 40% Off All Men's Jackets & Pants
Friday: 40% Off All Women's Jackets & Pants

Remember, the 40% off is only for one day with each category, after that the prices will be 30% off.

I ordered my Rome 390 bindings from them last saturday for $150 and now it's only $126. Let's hope my price match goes through. I'll try to use my price match credit for boots.

legallyillegal the later you go, the lower the prices, but also the lower the inventory

boots - if your feet aren't happy, you won't be happy
pants - sitting down, going through waist deep white stuff; if your pants are soaked, you won't be happy; zipvents are practically a must
bindings - cheap bindings are cheap for a reason (inexpensive isn't the same as cheap)
gloves - soaked gloves are not fun
socks - like boots and gloves, a good pair of ski socks will do wonders for comfort and enjoyment
jacket - a cheap 5k jacket will take a lot longer to get soaked than cheap 5k pants
board - anyone can rip on a lamar; the rider makes the board, not the other way around
goggles - these days, any $30 goggles with persimmon lenses will perform equally to $100 goggles with persimmon lenses

twin89 hey i would buy in like late spring or maybe even starting now, just be on watch for what you want in spring sales. thats what i did and i got a last yrs model rome 156 agent, ride rx bindings, and some burton freestyle boots for $460 total, which is a complete steel considering the board alone during season is like $470ish.
def buy at the end of season but dont wait till summer cause everything will be gone. I would just be on the lookout from here on out for what you want. This is when the sales begin! so long as you dont mind riding last yrs model of stuff.

when to buy??????????

I have just one question. I want to get a new board and bindings and new everything pretty much just because this past season was kind of like a "do I like snowboarding" season. And I do like snowboarding so i've decided to invest some money in this new sport that i want to pursue. So my question is Is it better to buy now or later like in the summer? Thanks.

Oh and because I am looking for new stuff could you point in the right direction to what (board, bindings, boots, pants, jacket, and anything else) I should buy. Thanks I appreciate it alot.
