DiamondCarver Well thx everyone for the help! i went from burton customs all the way to K2 formulas.

true_richard they're pretty much a love hate thing, but, i <3 flow bindings.

markee Just 08. This year K2 cored out the middle of the toe strap and it fits snug on my boot.

DiamondCarver Just 08? or this years also?

markee In my experience, just because a toe strap is super cushy doesn't mean you can rock it as a cap. The Rome 390 webbed toe strap is actually engineered to fit as a toe strap or cap strap. Some bindings toe straps that are advertised as "universal" still suck e.g. 08 K2 Formula.

fuzzysnowboard Rome binders have ultra cushy straps so you can put them over your toe or wherever you like. They are designed for that, so they will probably work well. I suppose you could do that with any binding as long as the toe strap is cushy enough.

jmacphee9 o really..i wonder what time it will start...hopefully 12 am..

and most bindings do have convertible straps or full on toe caps. get the romes and you will love your life..

then does sierra snowboard have better deals at end of season?
Sierra is having a sale this week think is 40% off 2009 boards on monday, 40% off 2009 binding on tuesday , and 40% off 2009 boots on wed.

DiamondCarver I'll probably just wait until the formulas go on sale. Too bad Sierra snowboard doesn't carry them, anybody know where to get them cheap besides the-house?

Triple8Sol Good call on avoiding overprice Burton. I'm not sold on Flux though...
