Technine Icon I usually put my music on but keep it quiet so that I can hear my board but also hear the music when I'm on the lift.

Rhett056 If I'm riding in the shity midwest hills where I live by I don't ride with music because the runs are 10 seconds but when I ride out west I love riding with music because your not on the lift 90% of the time.

Dawg Catcher i always listen to music, found the best way is to only use one ear bud at a volume is low but loud enough to be heard on the lift while not drowing out schwick schwick schwickty schwick sounds, Of long hard board penetrating virgin snow.

desklamp I like being able to hear what's going on around me, like someone screaming that they're about to hit me or my board hitting a patch of ice.

Ditto, i may start using some music at low volume for days when all my board does is scratch down ice lol...its like a finger down a chalkboard to me...

1 headphones are annoying as hell while riding and dont stay on
2 you cant hear your buddies
3 you cant relax and just listen to everything thats going on, i love the sound of carving...
