2nd for the BSOD. Just went boarding with a friend and he loves the board.. it can charge hard.. we were riding all POW and he was raving about the float.
I ride a NS legacy which is the big boot version of the SL.. its a great board and the float in powder is amazing. Still trying to get use to it as I am coming from a traditional camber board. I will say that its not a hard charging board so if that is what you are looking for I wouldn't recommend it.

|Chris's||If you are still looking for a board and might consider used I have a Custom x 156cm in excellent condition that I have used @ 40 days. It's a "blem" because of a mistake in the graphic - that I cannot find. I way over estimated my ability and it is more board than I can comfortably handle or need. I was going to put it on Craigslist for $195 plus shipping. I am not home right now but can send pics if you are interested. email@example.com|

Picked up a pair of Burton Ruler R: they fit well and are easy to get in and out of and the stiffness was noticeable right away.
Bindings: On my 1st run with the new boots my old bindings snapped....just paid $85 for a lift ticket so my only outlet was the board shop at the base lodge....they didn't have the atlas so I went with the Burton Malivita's - really like them a lot, even if I overpaid for them lol.
Next up is a new board: options after further research are below:
1. K2 Slayblade
2. Capita Black Death
3. Rossingnol Krypto Magtek

Yeah the 350 for the new Slayblade and only 130ish for the Atlas bindings arent too pricey....
What type of boots do they have these days that would work with that combo? or is it a feeling / fit type thing? I will def buy those from a shop to ensure proper fit/feel but it there anything I should focus on?

|Riley212||That combo is almost 8 years old. The board might be worth it for 100 bucks but the bindings are definitely not. The comfort and performance gains from newer bindings is worth an extra 100 IMO.|

|BobbyGrand||Good call - I wish I was in pow every time but other than those trips out west its choppy and ice in VT.|
