CassMT i think that profile, with the ends dropping is why it pretty much felt like a camber when carving

ItchEtrigR Thanks for that. That's one weird looking profile.

CassMT the new profile is called a 'Lifted' flat

i was skeptical of the flat idea in general, no more

ItchEtrigR I have a 2011 164 Slayblade with the older flat camber, how much camber is in the new shape? And does it differ significantly from the flatline profile they had previous? Thanks for the review. ..

Zone Loooks sick. I just got myself some new Flow nx2-at bindings, Would pair sick with these.

CassMT yes, it was a 161w, and my Titan is a 163w, forgot that bit...i'm 6', 190ish, 12 boot. borderline for needing a w i know , but it was available and i abhor any toe drag in deep carves so it's been great. the slayblade seemed narrower than the Titan, i would have to check the details on that. i will go with the 161w i rode, it did everything better.

look forward to your take on it LightninSVT

LightninSVT Yeah, my Titan was in perfect condition too before it was lifted. I'd probably still be riding it if some asshat didn't decide he wanted it more.

The Titan was a pretty wide board, but you rode a 161 regular width? What size shoe do you wear and how much you weigh? I'm a size 12, about 210 right now.

I will add more to your review after I've had a chance to ride mine. FYI, when I ordered mine they told me K2 only had 2 left in the 163W so you may want to hurry, they might be selling out soon.

CassMT damn i didn't know the titan was that old. i got it used, but in perfect shape at the end of last season, love it....no wonder this beauty seemed so lite and chatter free with the new tech...

very stable, it may be even better suited to eastern conditions

LightninSVT Just the review I was looking for. I rode a 163 Titan for a few years before it was stolen I currently ride a Zeppelin 163 Wide, the model year right after they stopped making the Titan. '09 I think

I've been looking at the Slayblade for a few years now but never pulled the trigger until this year. I just ordered and picked up a 162 Wide last week from my local shop and I can't wait to ride it. I have a feeling this board is gonna be exactly what I've been looking for. Although, I will never see thigh high powder here on the East Coast.

I also just sold my NS Legacy on craigslist because it was just too squirrely while flat basing and at high speeds. Pretty sure I would not be a fan of any of the R/C combos which have Rocker between the feet.
