Cool, I've planned my next snowboarding trip to the Stubaier Gletcher early March 2015.
Anyone else there around that time?
There is a nice 10 kilometer unprepared run

|Argo||The area is amazing. The après is also amazing. Beautiful mtns and scenery. Respect. The off piste, it's killer over There. If you have never riden the alps, be ready for steep terrain!|

|msq_sf||Well, Innsbruck is 25km away from our hotel and Blue Tomato Shop Innsbruck is official dealer of neversummer. Hope, they have "test boards" or maybe buy/ride/return later would work out...|

NICE! How was it?
Yeah, I imagine, I won't be able to get NS there, but hope for something similar by feel. Need to do my research...
Looking at flights now: there is one flight with Austrian airlines and one with United. United is operated by Tyrolean, which is Austrian. Wonder, if United would have fees... Unfortunately, tickets were already purchased.

Dang, I just flew with united to Zurich with no extra board bag charges. I think there is a certain size limit at like 180cm.....
We were in arlberg region and there were tons of shops in St Anton. with amazing equipment for rent but good luck finding neversummer as a rental there. Maybe email neversummer and ask them directly for some authorized shops in the area.

Stubaier Gletscher snowboard rental
Going to Austria, Stubaier Gletscher, second week of March to meet with my buddy from Moscow. Flying from New York to Vienna with Austrian Airlines, then taking train. It appeared to be that they charge $165 each way for ski/snowboard equipment check-in on intercontinental flights.
We are planning to ride for 5 day. Googled a bit and it looks like that average rental price is ~$35 per day, which makes it $175. I want to rent something similar to my current setup which is NS heritage and targas. Two questions:
1) what kind of rental boards do they offer?
2) don't want to screw up my vacation by getting used to a new setup, so is it worth spending extra $150 to bring my board?
