has anyone tried that?
Mounting them with only 2 screws probably won't last, right?

Would these not make it work? My Contact Pros have these kinds of disks. I imagine that's what you need.

The contact pro baseplate was redisgned for 2014 and uses a much smaller mounting disc which allows for more board flex.

johnnymac No those wouldn't work the disc would be too big to fit in the baseplate.

bseracka likely a straight cut and paste off their stock compatibility blurb without consideration of the new mounting disc.

SLiM253 straight from the Union Contact Pro mini-site:

"Aside from a soft EVA cushion, the only binding-to-board contact here is a small ring around the disk. A smaller disk means a smaller binding footprint. A smaller footprint allows your board to flex and perform more naturally.

*Compatible with any traditional 4x4 mounting system, the 3 Hole, along with Burton snowboards featuring The Channel, you can mount Union Bindings on any board you choose."

I don't understand why they'd claim that on their site if it wasn't true.

They still won't work because the slots aren't 4 cm long. On a 2X4 board you can use them at 90 degrees and the EST hole lines up (only using 3 screws), but again that won't work on a 4X4 because you don't have that hole between the holes that are 4 cm apart.

Unless there is a different disc that i didn't receive, they won't work on 4x4 inserts.

CERBERUS.lucid I apologize... I'm going off of tactics.com and they labeled most boards at 4x4 when I look at the board stats... I guess they didn't input the correct specs.
