Cheers fellas. All good advice to keep in mind.
I'm still leaning towards the 158. The guy in the store I bought my boots from said he rode a machete all last season and was a little above the weight range for his too. He suggested the 158.

Delfunky - we have similar builds.
I'm about 6', 190lbs. I rock a Never Summer Proto CT 158 and it has never felt too buttery.
I would go with the 158 - Good luck man!

|SuCoSlayer||I'm 6'3" 205 and I have a Never Summer SL 164. Used to rock an Option Supercharger 168 a LONG time ago. I think the 160 would be right on for someone who weighs 187. Just my $.02|

Awesome, thanks. Easy to get flustered over what to get.
Time to get an order in.

Ride Machete 2013 - Size advice
I am about to pick up my first board, a Ride Machete 2013, but am a little stuck on which size to get. I wear a size 10US Nike Vapen and weigh around 85kg/187lbs. At the moment I'm deciding between a 158 or 160 regular width. I mostly ride all mountain with a bit of park thrown in (looking to do more park stuff this year).
Would my weight make the 158 too buttery? A little worried that a 160 or 162 might be a little long.
Also planning on pairing this with Ride Revolt bindings.
Any advice would be awesome, keen to make the right choices on my first board.
