Psi-Man There was just a thread discussing Killington and some of the surrounding mountains.

DaryleTN Snowdog.. some friends and I are thinking about in early Feb taking a trip up to Killington. Have you been there? Or heard any reviews on the place?

SnowDogWax I'm at JayPeak Vt, rain, rain, and rain…. But set my all time land and speed record today!!!

Redline The snow had been pretty good up here in NY up until this most recent round of rain. Now I'm a bit worried for the rest of the season.

SnowDogWax Face planting in powder or ice is not fun. Being on the Ice Coast would welcome some powder.

DaryleTN What's funny is where a lot of you guys board it messes with you when you hit an ice patch. Where I am it messes with you if you hit loose snow! Sliding across hard pack/ice (like normal) then hit some power and face plant! lol

Redline I have a Lib with it and it grips pretty solid at high speeds but feels like it drags slightly at lower speeds. I feel like it has "saved" me a couple times when I came across an unexpected blue ice patch though.

poutanen putt it all in a nut shell!

If Magne-Traction gives you confidence weather warranted or not.

Is the difference that makes all the difference.

Hell what more do you want.

I want Magne-Traction! Why! I think? It helps

Well, I'm about to pull the trigger on the Rossignol Templar. So in about a week I will have another opinion to add to the pot...
I have heard some say it digs in too much and slows them down. Either way, I wouldn't buy a board specifically for it, but I wouldn't NOT buy a board because it had it either.

I'm sure you'll love your new board!
