BoardChitless Only reason I am posting is because I like your UserName...

You haven't given us any concepts on your technology. So patent that, then come back to us... a name is just a name till you brand it with many peripherals co-marketing your brand/name.

And, yes, your design skills are not too impressive of the images you posted. PM me if this is legit... I do Marketing, and what I will tell you first, is the idea and the name are just step... a baby step.

And, by the way, H20 I would stray from... WasteLand should have a creative garbage can of some sort, but still, we know nothing from what you have given us.

(This is the wrong forum for all this, don't even know why I am posting this, when I'm just hoping the NorthEast gets more snow than just an inch or 2 with this wkns storm dusting.)

Jed You're a lurker on the forum and you still didn't do the intro video? Come on man, you should know the forum rips into people when they post this survey/question bs on their first post without an intro video.

Honestly all of this branding/name stuff doesn't really matter anyway (although I wouldn't be surprised if both your names are already trademarked). Your product is what matters, and even a mediocre name like 'wasteland industries' is fine if your product is amazing and useful.

I suppose a name that has to do with whatever 'cool' product you create would make sense, but you haven't told us jack about your secret product, so how can anyone even help you with the name besides shouting generic snowboard names at you.

CassMT both kinda suck

nothing wrong with trying to start something, it's that or go work and make someone else's money, for some there is no option

koi both names feel like they are trying too hard. why don't you go with something more personal. burton was named after the founder, never summer was after some mountains, etc. also does anyone else see a similarity to venture snowboards on the blue snowflake?

It IS New Roman, actually, lol.

System font use aside, the snowflake logo (albeit one cleverly concealing spermatozoa design) is not the best choice for a company plying its trade in a snowboarding industry.

By the way, both names are taken already. There's a good chance you won't be able to secure a trademark, but invite possible legal problems, instead.

i've been involved in branding several startups over the years. please do some actual research. please understand the process of creating a brand that works. and if you're still set on going forward... please hire a professional designer.
