Really? People are saying the Villain is stiff? What? It's labled as all terrain jib and performs just as such. It's mid flex at best between the feet and just a bit softer in the tips. If you find it tough to butter I can't help but wonder if you even know what you're doing. It's soft with rockered tips...
As for it vs the Banana? Villain, every condition every day. Flat out better board.

yes the villain is not very flexible. its pretty stiff between feet. not very easy to butter. to me its more like a all-mountain board rather than a park board.
carving on this thing is just magic. you just lay into the turn and it just holds like nothing. I dont like it when the snow is icy cuz its very rough. fresh groomer is the best.

|bigbluebear||I just came back from the mountain riding my villain and my friends skate banana for a run. The skate banana is definitely more flexible than the villain so it all depends on how much flex you want out of your board. Regardless of which you get, i'm sure your riding style will adjust to it.|

|ridinbend||Or if you want a more all mountain get the assassin. I would personally go that way over the villain if I had a choice.|

Salomon builds pretty good stuff. Although made in China but the quality of my Villain is top notch (should be since it expensive).
I would say the Villain is very easy board to ride. its camber between feet and rocker tip and tail. its rather stiff in between feet and soft tip an tail. which makes this board poppy yet buttery.

|TorpedoVegas||I have a Villain and love it, my other main board right now is a Lib TRS. The Villain feels almost like a camber board to me, but more forgiving..cuts an edge like a knife. I've found it great in powder, maybe not super deep days, but fun when there's a fresh 10cm or so.|
