I would like it, gives the board a unique quality. If something goes wrong it is still under warranty right? Lots of boards have clear base material even if you cant tell (My Lobster Parkboard for example)

On the other hand if you cant get over your fear no real reason you cant get an exchange right? It looks like its still in the plastic.

so in my view it is a win/win really. 1. You get a semi one of a kind board or 2. you just get it swapped out now and forget about it.

My guess is they recycle base material and it just happened to fit and they were probably at that very moment out of the white.

Bones Ride did this on their Timeless series for years.

Yeah that's my outlook as well...at first I would think maybe the material would be softer or not up to par, but it feels like the rest of the base

CLEaR BASE?!

I have a CAPITA indoor survival and what's wierd is that the negative space in the "P" on the base is clear... You can see the construction on the inside. The normal base is white & every other indoor I have seen has the normal white base in the center of the "P"... I was curious to see if anyone has ever come across this in other boards? I'm guessing while building the board they ran out of white and decided to make the p clear since it would keep the base visually balanced. Like they had enuff white left for only the 2 "A's" in capita. Just putting this out there for the universe.r
