Varza I kind of feel the need to second this: OP, get impact shorts. They help TREMENDOUSLY (only butt pain I get nowadays is just muscle bruising, and that clears up in no time). I have the ones trapper mentioned (the Demon d3o shorts). I got the men's model because it seemed to have more padding and I am really happy with them.

Not true! My friends girlfriend made a vegetarian meal for me n my wife one time, It gave us gas sooo bad! I farted so loudly and explosively I kept waking myself up all night long! Tailbone's still out of whack!

(....however the wife's gone, so lets call it a tie!)

Heh, i needed about 4 runs to shake the cobwebs off and start to get the feel for a new board. After that it was more enjoyable.

PorkCereal Glad you enjoyed it, its the best for within an hour for me, and 2 hr for you. Perfect to go for a few hours and get back home. On that trail, watch for the far right side, gets very icy especially just after the decline.
I'm headed to Waterville next week for 4 days mid week. Hoping that its vacant. Have my brother and a friend that's never been in snow flying up from Florida. Should be fun. The room rates and pet available rooms make it good for me.

Next step for you is to pickup some gear and get it tuned for you. I dont have too many more days on the slopes than you, but for me, my own gear and setting up for me is going to help. That and being on a constant board, IE not getting different stuff each place you go.
