You should try to Rossignol Krypto, or Smokin Superpark

The perfect board for you would be a Never summer Proto HD or a burton Custom X

second, there have been many posts like this before, they die and fade into the back pages of the boards forum where forum noobs never venture. most people don't know how to do a site search or are to lazy. every fall there is an influx of "which board for me" then arguments over which board is better then arguments between fanboys over who's brand is better.

you are wasting your time posting highly opinionated generalizations like this, within two days tops of this post there will be a "which board for me post"

F1EA No offense but.... this "guide" is useless. It may seem like an ambitious little project, but it doesnt work because a) the logic is flawed b) it is your preference/opinion and yet you're going off on reviews and awards and c) it will significantly change for next yr so why bother.

I'm not saying your idea or intentions are not nice. I just think anybody can get MUCH more information and less bias by just clicking the appropriate filters on EVO's website (to name 1 source out of many)....

jdang307 I think you need to take out the Evo, and put the Proto in the first category. Maybe even put the Happy Hour in the second.

Ehh, the boards in either category are so different from each other I don't know where to begin.

Agreed, I know I love my custom x. Can really handle high speeds beautifully and is real stable in most situations you'll encounter in all mountain riding (carving, jumps, bombing a run or two, etc.) I just dont do any rails because of its stiffness and I wanna get a dedicated jib board for that

snowklinger The Evil Twin should be in the 2nd group, it is stiffer than a Proto, significantly so in my own experience, I owned both until 2 days ago.

Unless it is a completely different board than it was a couple years ago (I know they changed teh tips and base materials).
