So i got the Cartels - but i'm not sure if medium is the correct size. The Heel-Strap is maxed out, but fits...
Boots: Northwave Decade 10.5.
What do you think?
thx and greetz

|East§ide||In my opinion , the Cartels are phenomenal bindings . Very responsive, the asym ankle strap is extremely comfortable and I've really enjoyed the Autocant feature a lot . The Hurrithanes are definitely soft bindings and probably not what you're looking for as they'll really detract from that board . Also, I would probably save the extra $50 and buy last years model if you're not planning on selling it anytime soon .|

okay. I'll switch to the cartel (m). I've seen them in a local shop and they looked and felt pretty nice. Never had the chance to hold a union, but after all i read they're supposed to be quite similar and the cartel are 15$ cheaper.

|bseracka||the hurrithanes would be way to soft for the sl, they're more of a jib/street/rail binding|

k2 hurrithane - good choice for never summer sl?
i'm snowboarding for 3 years now (25-30days in snow), male, level is intermediate i think, and i decided to buy a new setup. I'm 5.9, 180lb - and more into carving than park.
I bought a Never Summer SL (2013), 155, with a k2 Hurrithane (Boots: Northwave Decade).
So now i'm not sure if the k2 are the best choice (like the guy in the shop said) and i'm thinking about the cartel instead, cause i don't really trust the k2 toe strap and the flex might be to soft. The cartel are a bit more expensive, but that would be ok.
And another question: I could get the SL 2014 for just 50$ more - is it worth it?
thanks for your help!
