Stretch your calfs increase your ankle flexion and lower leg range of motion to stop your foot contorting/twisting in the boots under forces of speed with a lack of flexion.
Don,t blame the tools till you tried the above.

|freshy||Sounds like your just breaking in your boot. It will probably be uncomfortable for the first week of riding.|

|ALshooter||I will try it out tonight with everything a little looser. I haven't been able to ride since I got this setup so this is all living room carpet shredding. I'll be in Telluride Feb 27th though!|

|thedru13||Sounds like you are cranking the strap to tight on the binding. I would try and loosen it up a bit and see if that helps. Also are you boots to big? Is your foot moving around at all as you ride?|

foot pain only in left foot, looking for a remedy
I've got a pair of Vans Aura's. I'm a new boarder. When walking around the house in my boots they feel great. No pain or numbness. However, when I strap into my bindings the outside of my left foot starts hurting. I know that my left foot is slightly wider than the right but would that cause the pain? Am I cranking down on the bindings (Ride EX) too much? This pain is familiar from wake boarding and skiing where it happens on both feet. The universal boots on the water toys are to blame for being too narrow.
Any (useful) advise would be greatly appreciated.
