That is an awesome price for Utah. Cheapest I have been able to find elsewhere is almost $60. Just make sure it is a 4wd suv. Some of the listings for midsize suvs I have seen are only 2wd, other don't indicate which, and some specifically say 4wd.
I've been leaning towards going to Jackson Hole instead since I can do the trip quite a bit cheaper and don't need an suv out there.

|bklyned||FYI I just booked a SUV from Priceline for $40 a day for SLC. You might be able to do it for $38.|

You gotta take a bus/Trax (light rail) from PC down to the Frontrunner (diesel train) in SLC and then take that to Ogden. Then you have to take the ski bus from Ogden to PowMow. The plus side is it will only cost you a few bucks.|

sorry to jack your thread but I'm going to be in Park City from February 14th February 20th I would like to go down to Powder Mountain probably Tuesday or Wednesday of that week (Feb 18-19)
I there any way to get from Park City to Powder Mountain by bus? I'm staying with a friend In PC. I think she wants to go to canyons/bird on the weekend and Monday. she has a car but she has to work during the week. I really like the idea of old school vibe and and Slow Lifts my kind of place I'm hoping I can check it out.

I'm pricing everything out for the same time period myself, but I'm flexible on days. At the airport, best prices coming up for me on midsize cars are around $250 and midsize suvs a little over $500 for a 7 day period.
Thanks for suggesting Rugged. They do seem to be a little cheaper, but no suvs available for that time period right now.
So, you guys really like Powder Mountain? I might have to try that place. I heard the only problem is the lifts are old and slow. I definitely want to try some different resorts next time, also thinking about Canyons.

|mhaas||Stick with the camry. If you rent a 4WD vehicle it wont snow. When/if it snows enough to restrict travel, park the Toyota in one of the park n ride lots and take the ski bus of hitch hike up to the mtn. If its not snowing the roads will be fine for FWD.|
