Varza Used boots? I did not know such a thing was possible.

Even overlooking the grossness (shudder!), wouldn't they be improperly fitted, packed out, softened and worn out and all of that?

Goggles too. Not ever getting them used! I did lend out my pair to my best friend for one day (she had lens issues with hers). And I use a different pair now anyway. That was that.

riseuplights Thanks everyone. Looks like it will be clean, unused , cheap goggles for this season.I was weary about buying used goggles but you guys pushed me back to my original thought which was don't buy something someone else sweats in.

DevilWithin Bob Costas bought used goggles and look what happened to him

Check out sites like Whiskeymilita and The Clymb to find good deals on new gear (they have goggles up at least once a week). The Evo outlet is also another good source.

MeanJoe I would never even think to a.) buy used goggles and b.) if I did buy used goggles, concern myself about disinfecting them. If you're new, just go buy some cheap goggles to use for awhile. You can worry later about investing in higher quality and more expensive goggles.

And used boots. *shiver* I have a buddy who buys them all the time via eBay. I don't think in the 8 years I've been riding with him he has ever bought a new pair of boots. Squicks me right the f-ck out, regardless of how much cheaper they were than the new price.

PorkCereal You can buy new goggles for less than 50$ online, why buy used?
