blackbeard I'll throw some up when I get home later today. I really think they are fine, just looking for some feedback if I need to adjust anything.

pic would help.

That'll happen if you have them cranked too tight. Varies by binding.

blackbeard haha, any insight is better than none at all. the whole binding seemed very stiff out of the box, even just popping the ladders out of the sockets to adjust their position was hard to do. it is a 2013 model, which means it has probably been sitting in a warehouse somewhere.

linvillegorge If anything, it seems like they get catchier, but not sure if that's more on the ratchet itself or the ladders getting worn.

Well, now that I think about it I replaced my Flux toe caps at the beginning of this season. The ratchets were getting pretty catchy. The new ones aren't at all and I didn't replace my ladders. Take that for what it's worth, not sure if it's worth anything to be honest.

Do ratchets get smoother over time?

Just got a pair of K2 formulas (had K2 Company before) and the ratchets are not as smooth as I remember my companies being. Does anybody notice that ratchets need to be broken in sometimes?
