Kevin137 There is no stress, i will get my neighbour to download it on his phone... Haha that way i can use his phone to check it out and or use when we hit the slopes with no issues at all...

You would be amazed how many people do travel or have people available in the US for buying stuff though, i buy loads of shit there, have 6 or 7 people that live there and fly back to the UK regularly, and my neighbour and a couple of friends who live here but fly there for work, so always stuff to buy...

That's definitely interesting and not something I would have thought off the top of my head. Expanding the app to other markets is as easy as clicking a few buttons when we submit, I was initially worried about negative reviews since I thought the app wouldn't be as useful to people outside of the US.

I can get you on our beta testing account and then email you the app, but that might be more work than the credit card switch.

There are some limitations around developing for Android first, especially around designing for multiple screen sizes (think Samsung galaxy mini to Samsung note) and OS fragmentation. Additionally as your 2nd article points out most of the app revenue (and money spent inside apps) is still on the iOS side. We made the decision quite some time ago and have built our team around that for now. We definitely plan to follow fast with Android once we have a formula/experience that people really like.

Thanks for the feedback. Android is no joke.
"Apple leads Android in enterprise adoption, and in retail shopping use by consumers."

i suppose this excerpt from the 2nd article is really the main thing that matters.... anyway - that's all you get from me for free... fuck you, pay me.

Once we get the app experience locked down to the point that people are using and liking it we will definitely be expanding platforms. International will take longer since most us based vendors wont ship abroad. Thanks for taking the time to look though. I should have specified in the first post.

I know it doesn't look great looking for free feedback. We also do paid in person interviews for user testing. If you're interested maybe we could set something up where you try out the app and we have a 30-45 min phone interview. Message me if you're interested.

I'm ready! That's why I came here. Thought it was a good place to get honest feedback without the sugar coating.

I remember this thread. Hopefully I'll fare a bit better since I'm not trolling too hard
