blackbeard You will be fine with 157. If the 158 wasn't wide or if there was a 159 I might recommend those over the 157, but you won't notice the difference.

Definitely don't go with the wide. I have a size 10.5 boot and went from a wide to non-wide and it was a huge difference. Will probably never go back to wide.

keyfinder thanks. I'd like to go with a shorter length, my only hesitation is that the 157 may not be wide enough for my boot size (11 US). Is that something you think I need to worry about (the 157 has a 253cm width)?

Tatanka Head Well, 157 would work fine. I'd say 160 if you weren't normally riding on ice and you had more powder days.

I'll add that part of my bias towards a longer board comes from me tomahawking last weekend in some crusty ass snow. I was not excited about that. Typically, powder has not proven to be a problem as long as my bindings are set back properly.

keyfinder I'm an intermediate rider. I live on the east coast where I do mostly groomed runs, but take a lot of trips out west to ride glades- looking for something that's has stability at speed but also handles really well on ungroomed powder.

Tatanka Head I'm 6'4 at 220lbs and ride the 161w with size 12 boots. The Jones wide is more mid-wide in my opinion, none the less, on piste I love, love, love the board. Off piste makes me wish I had a few more centimeters (this is what your quiver or dedicated pow board is for). Take that into consideration with the type of riding you prefer to do.

nsrider121 I'm your exact stats and I would go with the 157. What level rider are you? What kind of riding do you do?

Dago91 What I can tell you is this.. you do not need a wide board so that rules out the 158w. With that in mind it depends on preference. For example I am 6'3 205lbs and ride a 161. I would probably based on your weight go with the 157.

Hope that helps.

Help Deciding Right Board Size to Buy

I'm interested in buying a Jones Mountain Twin board and am hoping for some advice in picking the right size. I'm 6ft tall, 174lbs and wear Burton Imperial Boots (sz 11). Here are the specs for the sizes I'm considering:

Length: 157
Width: 253

Length: 158W
Width: 258

Length: 160
Width: 256

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
