jdang307 Never rode a Nug but personally, I'd rather get a more traditional board as my only board. At 171 lbs? I'd go 154 at a minimum.

Advice on first board

Looking to get my first board and have been looking at either 146 Burton Nug or 151/154 Burton Super Hero.

I like to mainly do Piste riding and hit a bit of powder on the side of pistes. I would say I'm a late beginner / early intermediate in terms of ability. Do the above boards seem reasonable? May look at park riding next season but not for now.

Also looked at Burton Cartel EST bindings. Would these be suitable? I assume I wouldn't need large with a size 10 foot?

I have found a good deal on the 142 Nug but I assume this is likely to be too small for me.

I currently weigh 78kg but this has been dropping from 82kg about 6 months ago.

Any comments or alternative boards appreciated but note I am from the UK when posting online deals.
