stan_darsh here in taos today i was really enjoying the slush parts. but then 10 feet later in the shade is pure ice... i was bombing a catwalk at top speed just to get past the slush and BOOM frozen snowmobile slush track slams me into sliding 30 ft down the ice patch. no jacket, my stomach is super cut up from the ice.

i really like the areas that have no shade on the slushy days... haha

cav0011 I find it enjoyable. Then again I like any conditions other than icey.

andrewdod i love it, best time of the year to ride. just because i love being out there in a hoodie or t-shirt. Not to mention the landings are nice and soft.

onthefence I kind of hate slush compared to hardpack. Bombing becomes a pretty sketchy, and carving gets pretty lame in general. Kickers and jib lips get torn up quicker, and if its hot enough for wet patches then its not even worth attempting most features. But most of all, the reason I hate slush - THE HEAT. I cant stand being hot, if I ever strip my jacket down and I'm still burning up then just forget it.

trapper The only thing I don't like about slush is that here it usually serves as a grim reminder that the season is drawing to a close.

Meezi Nice, I was at Camelback this past Saturday and had the same conditions. I don't mind the slush at all, I have to agree that anything is better than ice.
