BurtonAvenger Why the fuck are we talking about waxing skis on a snowboard forum? I thought we were talking about waxing moms? I have some baby gravy they can use.

Argo I ride every day. I typically just lay a smooth hot wax layer on and don't scrape. No issues with sticking. Usually wax once a week or so. I never clean my base, who the hell does that. The only exception to scraping is on slushy spring days, I scrape it with some texture so it still glides on the super wet spring slush without putting the brakes on too hard.

twowheeled Standing on your board over a carpet lift is more work than sharpening your scraper, scraping, and sweeping up all the shavings?

twice a season? I have over 100 days so far this season.. yep I hate waxing that much! I'm thinking of building some kind of floor mounted scraper for my skis so I can just stand on them with the skis on and give them a few passes.
