Simon Birch The nut turned on one of their web cams and started making snow last night at 10:30.

Pity their web cams have been offline for awhile, I would like to know how it looks in a few days.
Hopefully the Thanksgiving week warm-up won't kill the chances of an early opening. Right now it's looking like we could hit 60 deg. It's only for about 4 days and I guess how much melts will depend on how much is made this next week or so. Thanksgiving night the temps drop and we have another cold patch. Looks like things stay cold past mid-Dec after another brief warm spell in the 50s, but that's super long range and can be unreliable.

slyder This is my local hill every weekend. Bus groups from Chicago. On the holiday weekends where Chi-town doesn't have school ouch. I will just ride early morning or late evenings. This is where the pass and knowing your hill pays off. Come and go when you want and you learn the crowds.

I will often brave the crowds as long as possible if I am there during peak riding times. Riding is riding
