Michigan, Heritage 166x, 6'5" 260 lbs. No problemo as an all mountain deck. FYI, for guys our size the Heritage still feels surfy and cruisy.

Of course Sam (sabatoa) is about the same weight and rides a 163 Legacy in same conditions without a hitch either.

Psi-Man consider the Ripsaw as well IMO.

Rdysetshred Like i said tho, depends how you're riding, if you're looking to ride more aggressive than the Heritage would be a good pick, but as you said you are currently cruising and carving so at this specific point the Legacy would be great as well. THe Legacy isn't a soft board by any means, it's a 6 out of 10 where as the heritage is more of a 8 out of 10. Look at how you're riding right now and try and see where you want to be in the next season. more aggressive, or surfy cruisy?

Rdysetshred Heritage is going to be stiffer and good for the groomers and big mountain riding, and the Legacy is going to be a tad softer with more of a "Freestyle" flex (meaning park, pow, and groomers) but it also has a setback making it directional board so it's got good float for powder conditions. Depends on how aggressive you ride as well, if you're cruising and just dancing around the mountain the Legacy would be an awesome pick. But if you expect to be stepping up your snowboarding game and riding a little bit harder, and you see yourself progressing into a aggressive rider, the Heritage would be a good pick then.

Big guy looking for a neversummer

I'm about 270lb and a size 12 boot. i have been riding for about 3 years so i would call myself intermediate. i'm looking to upgrade my old Rossi Circuit 160, and i'm looking at either the Heritage x or Legacy. I'll be mounting my flow NXT-FSE bindings to it. i wont be hitting the park, i just enjoy carving and cruising. thanks for the help.
