Sounds like some nice early-Spring conditions this weekend at Sutton and Jay Peak. Mid/high thirties during the day. Even some snow in the forecast. Crossing my fingers! My last two trips to Jay Peak have been total bombs, with sub-zero temps and 35mph winds, most of the lifts shut down. The forecast for the next few days looks okay. Again, my concern is more about Sutton…my wife is a skier; she's good, but doesn't dig the moguls. We may just do the lower (right) side of the mountain, depending upon the snow.

don't know what its like now at Sutton, but they got dumped on last week (39-48 cm in the last 7 days)

cookiedog Yeah it sucks.. maybe I'll squeeze one more day from this season. But I'm really looking forward to visiting Jackson Hole in December. I heard it's a great place. I guess it is time to swap the board to the scuba gear.

No worries. I came to the "Eastern Canada" forum looking for info about Eastern Canada and I'm reading all the posts about melting snow, while it's supposedly -2 where we're going this weekend…then I find out you're talking about everyplace BUT Eastern Canada. That is all. Relax.
