koi Just birthday suit it...

My base is Airblaster's expedition ninja suit on the cold days. Under armour, north face, or kuhl as my mids. If you want warmth the kuhl fleeces are great, they just look horrible and can be pricey (i have to stalk websites' clearances when i want a new kuhl)

Bgsmith9 I wear a t-shirt underneath my nike shell jacket until it gets to around 10 degrees. Then ill throw on a long sleeve shirt or a hoodie if its going to get any colder than that. I ride in Indiana if it matters.

But East Coast conditions are quite different than out west. Most of the other threads seemed to be geared for warmer temps out west.

You're 100% right about Shell Jackets - that's why they all cost the same amount of $$$ and come with the same features.

What to wear under Homescool shell East Coast riding

I was lucky enough to pick up a Homeschool Universe shell on Whiskey Militia this week. I have always worn insulated jackets and I'm not quite sure what mid-layers to wear underneath. I rock a wicking baselayer on bottom and top already.

It seems like Patagonia's R2 is a popular choice, but I'm not sure if it would be enough for a VT winter.

Homeschool doesn't seem to get enough media attention so I'm also happy to put their name out .

What say the masses of SnowboardingForum?
