Thanks for the heads up, I'll check it out. It's cool to get your hands on something new once in a while. Most of the artists I listed are pretty much done or leveling out. =)

nz, i'll have both of their albums uploaded in an hour or so.
yeah they're amazing live. it's just a big party/smokefest. no show is the same, they do a lot of improve and switch instruments with each other throughout. they're touring a lot more now since they're starting to get a bigger fanbase. i've been a fan since Longest Barrel Ride.

Dave Legacy In terms of hip hop I'm pretty much true to West Coast Gangsta Rap mostly originating from Long Beach and primarily G-funk. Warren G & Nate Dogg being the top of my list, but also including Foesum, The Twins, Dove Shack, etc. If I'm feeling something a little more raw I like WC, Snoop, or Daz. If I feel like going dumb I'll crank up something from the Yay, Keak da Sneak, E-40, B-legit, Too $hort, etc.

To be honest I've been doing a lot of punk rock lately.

Username Skimming through my hip hop playlist...

Aesop Rock is by the far sickest lyricist to grace my skullcandies.
He just released "None Shall Pass" - highly recommended. and "Labor Days" if your intellect can stomach it.

Also, Atmosphere's droppin a new album this year.
Brother Ali
Del
Living Legends
Jedi Mind Tricks
Binary Star
Immortal Technique
Hieroglyphics
Handsome Boy Modeling School
Eric B/Rakim
Blackstar (Mos Def/Talib)
Anyone who likes Lupe Fiasco should check out Philadelphia Slick.

p.s. Slightly Stoopid is dope, I've seen them 4 times live.

4 More Katchafire songs
Fat Freddy's Drop More soulfull than katch and a more successful band
The Black Seeds Another good Dub band <------ one former member of this band is Bret from flight of the conchords, he might still be. I just went to these guys concert during my universities orientation
