I haven't played in a while, but I used to play in lot of the Shotblock tournies back in the day in and around Newport. Great sport, too bad the AVP folded...although making a slight comeback. You can always hit up your favorite, Killington, for a last hoorah.

eli783 Yea I packed up the gear last week. Got up to Jay for a final couple of days and didn't wanna sully the memories with riding some slush/nice. Nonetheless, it was a fun season but now it's time for surgery smh

Another one bites the dust...

Just got an e-mail that Jiminy Peak has shut down for the season. All of the other MA/CT and even a few Vermont resorts are done. I guess it's officially over for Southern New England. Sad. Now I have to really put the gear away, instead of just stacking it by the closet hoping for a late season blizzard.
