I love my Never Summer Onyx

I love my Never Summer Onyx. I am very rough on my snowboards and ride anytime I have free time. It has held up amazingly well. Other brands that I have had in the past would have never been able to take what I do to my Never Summer. I ride in Tahoe and some years we don't get the snow you would hope for so I have hit a lot of rocks that would have broken my other boards, but my Never Summer handles the rocks just fine. The top sheet is very strong and does not chip away, which has happened with my past snowboards. These boards are made here in the USA by snowboarders that know what they are doing. This board is amazing in the parks and it even rides well in the powder. It does very well at high speeds and is so easy to spin around. You will be very happy with this snowboard. The people that work in customer service are super friendly and helpful.

Here is a link of me riding my Onyx:

blooh Natalie-Sorry for the late reply but I found it listed at that price on Windward Boardshop a while ago.

natalie Right, thats the one I'm talking about I've always seen the year of a board listed as the year of the spring season. So everywhere I look for the 2013/2014 NS onyx its listed as the 2014 model, which is the board I'm looking for

Stony Rice Actually she may be referring to the 13/14 year model. The 2014 or 14/15 hasn't been released yet and it's highly unlikely you would be able to get it that low.

natalie where did you find the 2014 NS onyx for $269? Im looking for the same board in a 140 or 143

Filigree Hi
These actually are a few boards I've considered myself. After extensive reading (which I still continue to survive summer)
NS Onyx seems like a good option, especially if you can get a good price. It's not that good here in Europe.
Another options I considered were Rome Heist, Flow Jewel and Roxy Ollie Pop. Turnoff regarding Ollie Pop, was that as far as I've understood, it doesn't have fully wrapped edges. Other three are still in my mind, although I must say I'm a bit inclined towards Jewel. Especially after watching some flex test videos.

blooh "Can't see it when you're riding it.... "

True dat!! But knowing I'm riding something that looks so awesome might make me feel so great...and if I feel great I might do great!-joking. The practical girl inside me overrules and I already bought the 2014 on sale. It looks really nice

She is 13 and about 98 lbs. She rides the adult 146.

It's a tad tall for her but she handles it very well.
