I know i am asking about a lot of boards. But you do not want to be inside my head right now

As for my riding terrain and style, it is explained in the first post.

Oh, and reading about libtech's TNT base, I crossed them off the list

Edit:

Unfortunately I have not tried magnatraction a try, and I think at this point it is impossible to try it.

So if i get a magnatraction board, I would have to buy it without trying.

Any info on why it is so specific, and different form a conventional edge?

As for floatability in pow, since I am getting a wide board, they should hold pretty well

EDIT: What about XV vs Krypto?

Panduri After having the same problem as the op, here is my take on the boards mentioned. You have to consider where you will be using the board. All of them have similar characteristics but will shine in different aspect on the mountain. They are all stiff beasts for the experienced aggressive rider.
Volkl Coal - 20-30% pow, 70-80% groomers - great carving board, super fast, smaller rocker, not bad in powder, but not its strongest asset.
Highlife: 40-50% Pow/60-50% groomers: again super fast, stable, excels in carving and bombing pow, big effective edge, camber to the tail. will shine on groomers. Has a softer larger nose and a setback of 2 cm to help the float. To get a max float I use to set it back some more, but generally is perfectly fine in Pow (I didn't have any issues <60 cm fresh even with centered stance, for deeper snow the back leg starts giving so I set it back as mentioned)
Flagship and XV (from impression of friends and the forum) : 60-70% Pow/40 - 30% groomers - I think Neni and the topic covered them nicely, they have more rocker, also in the tail and larger setback, also tapered for better flow, so excel in pow.
If you ride more icy conditions,XV will be better, but I agree as well that you should demo magnetraction first, it is often a love/hate type of feel. Personally I hate it.
I would throw in the bucket Arbor A-Frame as well, my impression is that it is hard to get in Europe (I haven't seen it on the slopes or in the shops) but in US it shouldn't be an issue. The situation is probably the opposite with the Volkl.

I would like to hear some impressions on the Maverick , seems to be a cool board

shesplits I personally haven't ridden any of the boards you mention, but my partner has a similar riding style to you - powder or busting out high-speed laps. He's got the rossi XV split, and first ride on that he almost went out and bought the solid too!

The shape of the Rossi is great to mix up between piste and powder as the extra width in the nose gives it plenty of float, and it's stiff enough to handle speed with good 'bite' on the edge. I'd probably also recommend having a look the K2 Peacekeeper - directional, bamboo core = strength & snap as well as solid under speed.

DEFINITELY give magnetraction a go before dropping your hard earned dollars on it - it's super divisive, some people love it...some people hate it!

Best of luck!

It's a plank built for when Jeremy isn't sure the standard construction will stand up to his next line.

Mere humans have no need of it.

linvillegorge Have you ridden magnetraction? If you haven't, I strongly suggest trying a board with it before buying a board with it. I love great edge hold, but I am not a fan of magnetraction, even the milder 5S version.

Maybe if I rode shitty east coast conditions my opinion would differ, but on decent snow I'm not a fan.
