Look on Craigslist.
find all the brand new or slightly used boots, in your size.
Do a shit load of research, compare the stats to the $$$$.
You can get top of the line, brand new boots, for cheaper than total shit ones at a store.

Try a comfortable pair of speed lace boots. Inexpensive pair.
Use them till you find your style and go from there.
Burton Moto is a decent starter boot.
