Now that I think about it you are so right! They have a lot of misspelled words, seems not very professional. They also say the burton clash is good at things.. ha ha ha

Shmolarski congrats on your new board and glad everyone could be of some help, you decide what bindings your going to put on the trooper yet?
Thanks!
Not yet, but I'll probably pick up some cartels in a couple weeks.

linvillegorge That's last year's board. Not sure if NS actually called that a 14/15 board or if Christy's screwed up on their listing, but that board was available last year.

I'd recommend doing a google search for reviews for christysports.com and see what customers have said. They might have messed up on their price for the limited graphics since its listed $156 cheaper than the regular version. If that's the case they will catch it as soon as someone orders one.

P.S. Stormtroopers were in the German army in WWI, and the Empire in star wars lol
Yea gotta love that name.
Christyports.com seemed to have good reviews so I picked up a 162 this morning. It does seem strange that a new model 2014/15 board would be 30% off. Maybe the other graphics are more popular and the camo ones aren't really selling. I personally like the camo graphics.
Stoked on that find and price, thanks again man.

I've never ordered from this website before (located in Denver) and that is the lowest price I've seen the snowtrooper for. If I didn't already own a SL I would buy one. The limited graphics look pretty beast mode and better than the regular graphics, well at least to me. Difference between the SL and trooper is they extended the camber/rocker profile, the ends look more tapered off, and the sizes seem to be a cm larger than the SL's.

To be honest it's one of the few brands I know, my buddy's been kickin around one for 5+ years and loves it. I've done searches on most the boards posted on here but it's a lot of information, especially when someone lists 5 boards with nothing to really distinguish them. Everyone's input is appreciated though

Thinking the SL fits my weekend riding pretty well.

And I'm thinking 161, I'm pretty small right now and will likely go up to 190 lbs.
