Wish granted!

I knew the Big 12 would be "punished" for being so stupid as to not declare a champion.

Meanwhile, the SEC plays the likes of Western Carolina in their out of conference schedule because they have everyone tricked into thinking that every SEC team is a powerhouse.

If you listen to ESPN (who has ample reason to be biased pro-SEC), you'd think any middle of the road SEC team would easily win any other conference in the country. It's just not true.
Ok, that's fair. Now step back and ask how many of those wins are SEC West (which are the teams ESPN talks about/raves over), and you will find that number to be 0. We can dive a little deeper in realizing that one of the FSU squeaker wins (which is a lot of them...) was against Florida. Florida's only decent win of the season (which was a solid win at 38-20) came against Georgia. This is the same Georgia team that also barely lost to Georgia Tech. So is FSU marginally better than Georgia Tech? (which I would love to be shown true tonight in an FSU upset...)

And you are saying the SEC teams play weak out of conference schedule games, but yet you are using the ACC games that were played as an example. So I guess you are saying the ACC is weak? Or is that the one strong exception? Or could it be that you are just pulling a weak team out of one schedule and ignoring the Citadels, Woffords (Who the fuck is that?), Tulanes, and Georgia Southerns in the ACC schedule (and that is just with the two higher ranked ACC teams).

But yeah, take the weak SEC wins that the ACC has and use that as a benchmark while ignoring all of the tough SEC teams. Did you know that the SEC West is the first conference division to EVER have EVERY team bowl eligible? The only 2 teams that aren't bowl eligible are Kentucky and Vandy (No surprise there). Even then, had Kentucky picked up 1 more, that would have been 11/12 teams.

Want to take a guess at how many teams from the SEC West were top 10 at one this year? Let's not cherry pick stats though, as this could go on forever. It will get decided when FSU gets crushed in the playoffs...or even tonight and misses the playoffs...

The rest of these teams are battling week in and week out in with a legitimate schedule of contenders and then there is Florida St barely making it by a bunch of nobodys. They can take their 28 games in a row and shove it up their ass. Maybe if everybody could play Conference USA...I mean Mountain West...I mean ACC...(is there really a difference ) every week, then 28 wins would be a cake walk for a lot of these programs. At least IMHO. Rant off.

midnightcaper Would love to see the ducks play bama. Even though I can't stand the ducks but there pac 12 so ya I'll support it since I'm a husky fan. I just don't see it happening though. I actually think bama is going to loose to mizzu today.

SkullAndXbones i hope fsu loses today. i don't think they're that good. i don't think they're even a top 5 team. the top 5 teams in the sec would probably beat them. i hope baylor loses too because i wanna see TCU in there because even though TCU lost to them i think TCU is the better team.

Pigpen All I want is my ducks to play Bama in the Natty. That's what I've wanted for 4 years. It can finally realistically happen

Ideally, I'd like to see Mizzou beat them just to watch the shit storm it'd cause. However, I think Alabama and Oregon are the best two teams in the country and it'd be nice to see them face off.

linvillegorge Oh, an FSU win absolutely puts them in the playoff. No question about that.
