Adamw. Last year I was on a rental... I think it was a burton cruiser?? It was a 164w but It wasn't wide enough for my feet so anytime I got on and real angle my feet drug... So just figured I buy my own setup for this year...

cookiedog It's looks like a good setup. I'm also you height and size, but at 230lb. and last season was on 2010 Burton Bullet 164W and I think it was jus the right setup. No drag. So I think you will be totally fine

Snowboardingfix Better to have too much board for the conditions vs. not enough! That's a sweet set up man. I'd say based on your height/weight, you were spot on with the board sizing. I agree with. Naw that you'll be alright with jumps. For a new boarder like yourself, I highly recommend finding features on the mountain to get familiar with before hitting any booters. Practice riding reg/switch into some mini lips and getting familiar with straight airs before getting into anything crazy. Don't forget to strap on a helmet for your nugget! Happy riding friend. Just a little warning word... the stoke spread here can be additionally addictive

From mid 90 till '12, I've bought in total three boards (add a garbage find and two hand-me-downs). From end '12 till mid '14: 5 boards. See my join date? Coincidence?
