If there were a group I thought tool reminded me of, it would most surely be Pink Floyd.....

On another hand, go to a tool concert but if you do get tickets right away as they go realllllly fast. Your an open mind Reno Seeing Killswitch Saturday night

ThugHunter I like a wide variety of music, but Megadeth is one that surely gets me fired up.

alasdairm ^ i have a couple of friends who are big into tool. i tried to get into their music and it wasn't really doing it for me. i figured that, perhaps, they'd be more impactful live so i went to see them live and, while they are undoubtedly talented, they still didn't really move me as much as i expected. seeing them live did not change my mind.

as with anything, they have their fans but they're not for everyone...

I think if you went to a TOOL show and saw their talent in person and the amazing shows that they put on, I think you might change your mind.

We remember shows soo much more than the albums of favorite artists due to that interaction & feeling given during a performance..... You feel a connection or you dont, as well as the whole atmosphere around you.
