Whats up everyone?

Hi my names John and I live in Northwest Ohio. Beginner to the sport, only been boarding two diffrenet times but seem to be picking it up failry quick as im finally linking turns without face planting like i was every run the first day. I want to eventually try learning some park tricks but just taking it slow for now and practicing what ive learned from my lessons. Im looking for my own gear so I can get use to the same board instead of renting every time and having a diff setup to get use to. Im 5'7 180-185 lbs. I have a short stocky muscular build and if anyone has any advice for board sizes I would appreciate any advice you guys have to offer. I have been looking at reviews and such and I think that i was most interested in the K2 Parksar 157cm and the Ride Machete 158cm boards. Any suggestions?
