baldy ur overhang looks pretty normal. it's not too much. I just got new boots (Salomon Pledge sz 28cm) coming from Salomon F20's size 28cm and there's a big difference. They're very snug in my bindings (K2 Auto size L) and have a little more overhang than your pictures. and i have a SLR 155... i hope it's ok

NYinfamous2k2 if you have L/XL bindings then you are good with the binding size. right under your toes on your bindings is an adjustable piece called the gas pedal. depending on the binding to adjust it to come out longer (out towards the tip of your toes) or shorter you may need to take the bindings off the board, some bindings you can do it while they are mounted. now you DONT want the tip of the gas pedal even with the tip of your boot and you dont want it ending under the ball off your foot. it should be a smooth trasition from your gas pedal to the tip of your boot it should end about under the knuckles of your toes.
this video should help

Zany its simple..Put your board to edge when ur toes or heels will be touching ground. I believe it will be around 60-70 degrees to ground. Do you use ur board with that angle? ofc u dont need wide.

x41133127x so its not the amount of overhang off your bindings but more the amount of overhand past the ends of your board?

NYinfamous2k2 the overhang on your toes looks pretty normal., hard to compare the toe n heel hang from your pic tho, but to measure put the tip of the measuring tape on the edge of the board and measure out to the tip of your to on the boot and do the same for your heel. if you want to do a quick eyeball turn the board over or stand it up and look from the base side and you would be able to see if there is a significant difference.

x41133127x plus in this last picture, the trey is only in the middle setting. If i pull it all the way out, the overhang will be even less and Id have to push the heelcup forward.

from this pic: photo-3 on Flickr - Photo Sharing!

do you think it is balanced?

x41133127x how do you know if the overhang on the heel is more than the toe. Its all within the heel cup. thanks for the help

NYinfamous2k2 you wont need a wide board, the amount of overhang in your pic is normal. just make sure your boot is centered on the board, that you have the same amount of overhang on the toes as your heel. if you are still concerned strap your boots too your board and sit it on the floor, then angle the board on its edge as if you were carving. you'll see how deep you would have to lean till your toes caught. but you should be fine. A wide board with a 10 boot will be very hard to link turns , edge to edge response time will be reduced pretty drastically

x41133127x i dont know how wide my board is. its a 157 banana magic. i ride 15 -15. Its crazy how bulky these nike boots are. I thought they'd be low-normal profile but they are huge!
