Jim That's what I thought, even if you went with something like 5150, LTD, Morrow, etc you'd be paying about the same wouldn't you?

SHOTGUNABEER IMO start out with something shitty-medicore for board to learn on b/c you just want to get the basics down (carve ect. lol) and you can learn that on any board, then once you wanna get alittle more into it you can and if you don't like the sport not much is lost. =D

I saw a Salomon Drift board for $135 new. What are your opinions for a noob 1st board?
