seant46 If its what i think it is it's a hardened liquid that helps keep your screws in tight.

seant46 Are you talking about lock-tight on the threads of the screw? If so yes keep it on.

Burton mounting screws

are you supposed to keep the blue plastic on the screws when you mount new bindings on a board? i've never mounted these bindings before and i'm having trouble getting the screws tight enough.
