|tecknojoe||I had a pair for a couple seasons. you'll realize after a while why they are the cheapest in the burton line. just not the best quality materials IMO. But dude above is right, they are "functional"|

Well, I think he's talking to a customer the wrong way that's for sure, but the Freestyles are a lower end binding. Judging by your riding level on the 360 vids I think you'd like a better binding, however the freestyles won't "hurt" your riding any, you'll just get more response from something else.
If you're looking to stay with Burton bindings, I suggest the Triads or the Cartels (just personal experience here)

The freestyle binding is one of Burton's entry level bindings. That being said when I first start to board about 15 years ago that was my first binding and the footbed/baseplate/and hi-back are all still in riding condition. Had to get new straps after abouth 5 years.
However if you don't have the coin to drop on a better pair of bindings they are functional.

"go mow lawns"
I went to the shop today and asked for burton freestyle bindings and the guy said to go mow lawns and to save up instead of wasting my money on them... is he right or was he just being a cocky sob?
