Ruckin69 Is that her in your Avitar? She's got 30lbs right there. Very nice!

Milo303 I'm sorry, you gave her weight.... I would put her closer to a 155 personally.

My girl is 130ish lbs and she rides a 157 all over the place

Milo303 Depends on her weight.

And Smokin snowboards have a 3 year warranty as well.

Check out Smokin... They aren't a joke, just a new company.

Ruckin69 Good to know, that's why I'm trying to have her get a Never Summer. They have a 3 year warrantee. Do you think a 151 is too small.

Milo303 GNU doesn't have fully wrapped edges and you can snag an edge on something, rip it out, and ruin the stick.

That's fine if it's during warranty and you don't mind being out of a stick for a while... But if it happens outside of warranty and you rip it far enough that it gets into the contact point, it's done.

I disagree with the un wrapped edges personally

Honestly not a huge fan of Lib Tech, GNU, Mervin.

If you want magne traction then buy a Smokin snowboard.

Ruckin69 What do you guys think of the GNU B Pro BTX. It not the C2 BTX? Also, do you think a 151 is too small for the Lotus?
02-16-2010 05:37 PM
Milo303 I recommend the Infinity in a 51 or 54... The Lotus isn't exactly a soft board and if her current board is to stiff, eh.

Should maybe feel the flex on her current stick then go to a shop and press the Lotus and Infinity to see if there's a significant difference.

lilfoot1598 You can't know for sure without trying them both. Check out Shayboarder's reviews of both boards.

Ruckin69 Thanks for all of your input. We're down to 2 choices...she's really torn. We're trying to get a board by Friday since we're headed to VT. With expedited shipping, she's looking at the Roxy Envi 153 for $395 or the Never Summer Lotus 151 for $386...both include the shipping price. How do we decide? Any thoughts?

Ruckin69 I was gonna buy the Travis Rice but went with the Never Summer F1 Premiere and love it. I think she would be great with either one, but that's just me! Thanks for all your input!
