Me too, I ride an 07/08 Heritage and am seriously considering either a new Heritage or F1 to try out NS R/C tech.

linvillegorge I'd love to have the new Heritage. I have the '09 Heritage right now and I love that board. But, I really want to get on one of NS's new rockered boards.

bluetroll I've been switching between the 2010 F1 59, 2011 Raptor 59 and 2011 Heritage 58.

I love the Heritage... it's playful but hauls when you need it to... flex is great as an all mtn board. The Carbonium series are way lighter. I prefer the Heritage of the 3, because it's just more versatile. you can take the heritage to the park if you want, rip grooms, float in powder. it's a great board.

Triple8Sol Of NS' entire 2011 lineup, the Heritage-R is the one I want the most. I think it's often overlooked, and not as widely available, which is why most people (including myself) wanted a Premier F1-R. Since I'm not a CO native though, I'm not too keen on rocking a CO flag, so we'll see. As far as the tech, it's the same as Mervin's C2, but NS boards are heavier and also more damp. They do a better job of absorbing chatter and soaking up choppy conditions, while Mervin boards are lighter and tend to feel a little more skittish at high speeds in those conditions.

linvillegorge Yeah, you should be fine with either a 158 or 160. I'm about your size and ride a 160.

pmoa So if im 185 will a 2010 158 heritage work?

jpb3 I'm anywhere from 200-210 and ride a Heritage 165 as my all mountain board so you should be good on a 163. Its really not all that much difference, 161 -> 163 so you should be fine, especially with the RC.

kswissreject I've been trying to decide between a Heritage and a Legacy. Didn't want to go all the way to the 163 for me, but felt the 159 was too small? I'm 200 lbs, size 13 boots. Currently ride a 161 Bataleon Goliath. Ride groomers mostly, a few jumps and such, but not really any park. Any thoughts?
