|zakk||detune it and obviously never sharpen it. My park sticks only get waxed. Overtime, it'll get nice and dull, which is what you want with the artifact anyways.|

|twin89||i would go very very minimal on the detuning of that board as suposedly it kinda detunes itself over time, but go easy on the file cause steel > bronze and one pass of the file may take off more than you are used to on a normal board, but i duno i have never detuned an artifact so take this for what it is worth.|

Detune Rome Artifacts bronze edges?
I just picked up a new 2010 Rome Artifact. I normally would detune the tip and tail but a couple things worried me so I thought Id ask before I moved forward. I think Ive heard the bronze edges are softer than your "standard" edge. Does this affect how aggressive I should get with detuning this board? The board already comes with a -3/-3 park bevel and slightly detuned tip and tail but I like the edges rounded off pretty good. I rode it the first time the other day in some not so good conditions and it felt very catchy. What do you guys think?
