Work a day, that's one more away,
then 36 days left to work at this job.

That's an awesome story. Love those sort of dudes!
Recently met a brother in mind of your dude. Unfamiliar resort. 50cm pow. Itching to go off piste but... not familiar with the terrain and being topographically handicappey? Meh... Met that 68yo skier on a chair. He asked if we enjoy all that fabulous pow. We said that we stay close to the piste cos ya know, but the terrain over there looks terrific! But with all those cliffs... one should really know the terrain. - Ah, that's where I go. Just follow me. He said and lightened a spliff.

We spent the entire day riding with him, he showed us all the great lines, pointed out all the hidden crevasses and entries to chutes, and had a very fast pace. When I mentioned that I love how fast he skies big fast turns, that it's a pleasure to follow him he laught and said his knees are too bad to do too many short turns, straight is easier. Lol. 'Twas our best day this season following this grizzly skier with the heart of a 20yo

This morning was absolutely perfect spring condition groomers, empty hill, probably the best carving I've done all season, got the hand down a few times on heelside carves, felt gooooooood. I'd checked uphill and there was no one there so laid out a big toeside euro right across the slope, half way across I see a skier come shooting out of the trees pretty close to me but never in any danger of colliding. He skids to a stop and apologises, hoping he didn't throw me off. I tell him it's all good, no harm done. He gets this cheeky smirk on his face and says "You like going fast aye? Catch me if you can!" points it downhill and goes into a tuck. I try my best but no chance of catching him as he steadily pulls away.
