fredericp64 My snowboarding experience helped me with sharp turns and balance on ramps, that's about it.

That is interesting, but I think other than giving you better balance I feel as though the idea of not being strapped into the board might feel strange at first

fredericp64 Yep very weird indeed. Tried it again today and I can confirm that my snowboard stance does not work at all on a skate deck, while ''switch'' works great.

On a side note, I didn't expect ollies to be so hard on shoes lol, my new Converses are ruined after a day ha!

I actually have two friends and a cousin who all ride goofy when they snowboard and regular when they skateboard. I don't know why they do it, but it works for them

fredericp64 This may sound retarded but, I'm very at ease with snowboarding regular (freeride/jumps/rails) Basically I do everything regular.

I tried skateboarding for the 1st time today, and I feel much more balanced riding goofy. Regular on a skateboard for me looks kinda sad. My buddy told me it was rare to see ppl switch sides when they either snow/skateboard.

Is this true? Why am I not able to stick to the same side :P ?

BliND KiNK prolly like a 7.25 to 7.5 width? ... the fun thing about a skateboard to me is not catching an edge. lol
